Who we are

Buzz Labs builds internal tools, websites and automation for businesses. Buzz Labs is run by Gerry Gregorious as a sole proprietor, based in Metro Manila, Philippines. For any privacy question, email hello@buzzlabs.dev.

We are the controller of the personal information described here. This means we decide how it's used. We follow the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). For people in the European Union and Ireland, we also follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

We only collect what you send us:

• Enquiry form: your name, business name, email, phone or messaging number if you choose to give it, and your message.
• Email and calls: if you email us or book a call, we keep that correspondence and any notes we need to follow up.

Please don't send us sensitive information, such as health or patient details, through the form.

How we use it and why

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare a review or quote, and work with you if you become a client. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries you send us. If we go on to agree a project, it's also to take steps toward that contract. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

• Netlify hosts this website and stores form submissions.
• Discord receives a notification of each form submission in our team's private workspace, so we can respond quickly.
• Google Workspace provides our email.

These providers may store data outside the Philippines and the EU, including in the United States. Where GDPR applies, we rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. Only the Buzz Labs team has access to your enquiry.

Cookies and tracking

This website doesn't use cookies for advertising or tracking, and doesn't load fonts or scripts from other companies. To show prices in your local currency, our host Netlify works out which country you're visiting from, using your connection's IP address, at the moment the page loads. We don't store that information or link it to you.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless we're working together. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires, for example for tax. After that, we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can also object to how we use it. Email hello@buzzlabs.dev and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the National Privacy Commission in the Philippines. In Ireland, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
